Just wanted to send you a quick note and thank you again for a wonderful time.
I have only heard good things from everyone who went on the trip and it is certainly
something that we would like to do again. Thanks for putting this together on short

WINTER / SPRING CLASS
jJanuary -
Tuesdays, 5:30 -
If you couldn’t make it to the fall/winter class, you can join this next January to learn how to kayak! We will offer the 12 week course on kayaking at the Lindquist Center pool again. Skills will be taught and practiced to assist people with the abilities to use safe and proper kayaking techniques. Participants will learn about boat designs, equipment, proper stroke technique, self rescue & group rescues, and principles of group safety dynamics. Depending on interest, skills such as Eskimo rolls, squirts, cartwheels and stalls can be learned and practiced. The overall curriculum, however, will be directed toward whitewater kayaking.
The course will benefit those with experience who want to improve their skills & for those who have never sat in a kayak before, but who are eager to learn.
Dr. Neal Schroeter & Clint Mabie, American Canoe Association certified instructors, will facilitate the course. All gear is provided.
Cost: $200 per person
