Houghton Point Paddle
Enjoy the serene shores of Chequamegon Bay on Lake Superior by Kayak in this family friendly paddle to the Houghton Point Nature Preserve.
Join us as we leave from the tip of the Bayfield Peninsula to launch our kayaks on Lake Superior. After a short lesson or review we will launch from the beach to explore the towering sandstone cliffs and water-worn caves that extend for a few miles along the shoreline. This will be an apostle island kayaking tour you will never forget.
We’ll enjoy lunch along a secluded beach before enjoying the caves on the paddle back.
Typically we will wear wet suits so bring shorts, tights or a swimsuit to wear underneath them.
All gear and equipment needed is provided.
